PATTERN BEADED BRACELET BAG
- Open your bag and take the string, beads and crayons out.
- Identify the warm color items. Warm colors are colors like yellow, orange, and red. Warm colors remind us of the sun and heat.
- Identify the cool color items. Cool colors are colors like green, blue, and purple (also known as violet and magenta). Cool colors remind us of water or grass.
- How can you create a small warm color sketch? How can you create a small cool color sketch? Create a drawing that represents both warm and cool color choices.
- Identify objects at home that are warm colors. Identify objects around you that are cool colors!

Arrange the beads to determine how you will place each one in your pattern. You will be able to create an AB color pattern (A:red, B:blue, A:red, B:blue)or an AABB pattern (A:red, A:red, B:blue, B:blue). Can you find a different pattern by rearranging the beads one more time?
Determine which bead color will be A: _____________. Determine which bead color is B: _______________. Now please list the order of A and B as they appear in your pattern: __________________________________.

2. Lay out the string to decide if you will braid the 3 strands together or string the beads directly onto the strands as they are now.

3. Place beads onto your bracelet in the order of your arrangement. One at a time and remember to hold onto one end!

4. To hold the beads in place when the bracelet ends are not tied together, tie a very large knot into the bracelet at each end of the beads if
you choose.
